Richard Kabano is currently the Sales Manager at UDL. He is responsible for Sales operations and is at the center of UDL’s sales strategic direction, leading the organization’s sales goals and daily sales activities including monitoring the competitive landscape to fulfill customer satisfaction, managing external partners and all sales initiatives. He is tasked with developing and implementing short- and long-term strategic sales plans to achieve the organizational sales goals and revenues with customer centricity at the core.
Prior joining UDL in 2023, Richard was the Business Development Manager at Britam Insurance Company Rwanda. He also served in various positions in Old Mutual Insurance Rwanda where he left as Assistant Business Development Manager. He has also worked in Mobisol as a Sales and Marketing Specialist.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kampala University in Uganda and a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Mount Kenya University and has attended different professional trainings including sales management from Rwanda, Strategic Vision & Business Risk Management Strategies from Kenya, Marketing Management, Risk management from Galway, Ireland-Alson. Richard is also a proud recipient of an award in General Insurance from the UK
