Mr. Damien Murwanashyaka is a Professional Civil Engineer, registered with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. With over 13 years of comprehensive experience in the construction industry, Damien has established himself as a leader in project and cost management. Graduating with First Class Degree Honors in Civil Engineering from the National University of Rwanda, Damien further honed his skills by obtaining an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University, highlighting his commitment to continuous professional development. Before joining UDL as the CEO, Damien held key roles, including Chief Quantity Surveyor at Real Contractors Ltd for 5 years and Projects Manager at ROKO Construction (Rwanda) Ltd for 4 years. Notably, he played pivotal roles in overseeing commercial aspects and contributing significantly to business growth. Additionally, Damien served as an Accounts Manager at Cimerwa Plc, handling major construction projects such as the New Bugesera International Airport and Amahoro Stadium Projects. Damien served well as Contracts Manager/Consultant at Century Engineering Contractors and Projects Manager/Consultant at GASABO 3D DESIGN LTD since 2020. Isaac Mutabazi is a Procurement and Logistics Manager at Ultimate Developers Ltd (UDL) for the last two (2) years where he is involved in daily procurement and logistics operations of UDL in areas of Real Estate Development as well as Property Management. Isaac is a seasoned procurement Expert, Procurement Policy formulation expert, as well as a Procurement capacity building expert. With Seventeen (17) years of experience dealing with all kinds of procurement and supply chain in Public, Private and Non–profit procurement for Works, Goods and Services, fleet management, construction tools and equipment management, Isaac has come to regard himself as a Specialist in these fields. Coupled with the above, Isaac has an in depth understanding of the different procedures and guidelines from the Donor Agencies such as the World Bank, the African Development Bank, The European Development Fund, the OECD guidelines and UN Agencies and Rwanda Country Procurement System. In the private sector, as Group Procurement Manager of Crystal Ventures Ltd Group, manning the procurement and purchasing needs of a portfolio of ten (10) subsidiary companies enriched his experience in as far as private supply chain management functions are concerned as well as sharpening his managerial skills. William Karangwa is currently the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Ultimate Developers Limited, he provides and coordinates administrative activities in the office of the CEO. Prior to this position, William worked at the Ministry of Natural Resources, where he contributed to the development of the communication strategy for the Lake Victoria Basin Commission Project (LVEMPII) as their Project Communications Officer for over a period of 3 years. William also worked at Rwanda Environment Management Authority. He has also served as a Senior Program Assistant at the East African Community Secretariat in Arusha Tanzania under the EAC-COMESA-SADC Tripartite Climate Change Program where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the project under the Principal Environmental Officer’s office. Between 2012 and 2014, he worked as a Communications and Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Infrastructure under the Rwanda Transport Development Agency in the Corporate Service Division where he was formally the first PRO of the agency and he was in charge of coordinating all Public Relations related activities in the agency. Amedee NIGAHEZAGIRE is the current Electromechanical Engineer at UDL. He has an oversight responsibility on the construction sites to ensure equipment efficiency, schedule maintenance, manage equipment installations, ensure total safety for the teams and generally to ensure that the systems and processes are working well and in accordance with the company policies, government regulations and safety standard laws. Prior to this, he worked as Mechanical Engineer at Rwanda Housing Authority (RHA) in various construction projects and Estate Manager & Tea Machinery at National Agriculture Export Development Board (NAEB). Amedee has about 12 years of experience in construction industry as well as in industrial engineering implementation projects and consultancy. His passion is to contribute in the promotion of green, smart and wellness technologies in the construction industry specifically in commercial buildings and real estate development in Rwanda. Amedee is a certified Electromechanical Engineer and a member of the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering Option from the University of Burundi. Janvier Uwimana is currently a Civil Engineer at Ultimate developers ltd (UDL) where his main duties are all civil and structural related engineering at different real estate development projects of UDL. Prior to joining UDL in 2022, Janvier Uwimana was a Project Manager at different projects in the country amongst which include the construction work of Kagitumba Cross Border Market, National Heroes Mausoleum, 220 KV Shango and 110 KV Birembo Substations. He worked also as Civil Engineer on the construction work of Kigali Logistic Platform (KLP) and had also worked as Project Engineer during the construction of Vision City Phase I. Janvier Uwimana holds a bachelor degree in civil engineering from the former National University of Rwanda (Currently University of Rwanda) and is also a Project Management Professional (PMP). |
Alain Tuyishime is the current Marketing and Communications Manager at UDL. He is responsible for UDL’s Marketing and Communication strategy as well as managing its daily activities. This includes post-sales communication with customers, digital marketing, managing agency relationships, and coordinating market research initiatives. Prior to joining UDL in 2023, Alain was the Marketing and Communication Manager of Bboxx Africa and B2B Manager at Canal+ Rwanda. Additionally, he held various positions in the Tele10 Group. Alain holds a Bachelor of Marketing Management from Annamalai University in India, and is pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy. |
Richard Kabano is currently the Sales Manager at UDL. He is responsible for Sales operations and is at the center of UDL’s sales strategic direction, leading the organization’s sales goals and daily sales activities including monitoring the competitive landscape to fulfill customer satisfaction, managing external partners and all sales initiatives. He is tasked with developing and implementing short- and long-term strategic sales plans to achieve the organizational sales goals and revenues with customer centricity at the core. Prior joining UDL in 2023, Richard was the Business Development Manager at Britam Insurance Company Rwanda. He also served in various positions in Old Mutual Insurance Rwanda where he left as Assistant Business Development Manager. He has also worked in Mobisol as a Sales and Marketing Specialist. Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kampala University in Uganda and a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Mount Kenya University and has attended different professional trainings including sales management from Rwanda, Strategic Vision & Business Risk Management Strategies from Kenya, Marketing Management, Risk management from Galway, Ireland-Alson. Divine Musema MUKABUGINGO is the UDL Internal Auditor with extensive skills in evaluating internal controls, reporting, developing and maintaining audit planning processes, financial statements preparation, analysis as well as its respective review. She annually carries out the audit of UDL’s operations and systems to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, review the effectiveness of the risk management processes, and adequacy of the internal controls to enhance the safeguarding of the company’s assets. Before joining UDL in January 2022, Divine served as an Auditor and later became a Principal Auditor (Team Leader) in the Office of Auditor General (OAG_SAI Rwanda) for more than 5 years, where she audited various Public Enterprises, Ministries, government, and donors’ projects, and Districts. During her tenure at OAG, she supervised various audits and successfully contributed to executing the constitutional mandate of auditing the state finances and property. Divine is a qualified Accountant with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-Kenya) certificate, a member of ICPAR, and a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, she has more than 6 years of experience in the Audit field. |
Christine Mbabazi is the current Human Resource and Administration Manager at Ultimate Developers Ltd where she leads the HR & Admin Unit ensuring smooth company operations and people management. She has vast experience in Human Resource Management, Administration for more than 12 years ranging from HR business partnering, staff wellbeing and nurturing, HR generalist, people management, fleet management and Office Administration. Christine has previously held HR and Administration roles in World Vision International in its Rwanda office where she served in areas of HR business partnering, staff wellbeing and nurturing and leading the organization’s Administration Unit. Before that, she worked in a private institution set up (Hashi Rwanda) within the petroleum Industry where she took up the role of HR generalist and also managed the general office Administration. Christine is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Human Resource Management. |
Emmanuel Nyamurangwa is currently the Ag Head of Facility Management at UDL. With over 14 years of experience in master planning, construction, and facility management, Emmanuel brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Before joining UDL in 2015, Emmanuel held various positions within the City of Kigali. His background has provided him with a deep understanding of the intricacies of Facility management in an urban environment. Emmanuel holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management from Mount Kenya University. He also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics and Education from the National University of Rwanda. With various international trainings that have strongly built his career, mostly in Facility management, and his commitment to excellence, Emmanuel plays a key managerial role in UDL by ensuring the smooth and successful achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.” |
Jules Cesar HATEGEKIMANA, is the current Head of Finance and ICT department at UDL (Ultimate Developers Ltd). He is a qualified accountant (ACCA) and is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting option obtained from UR, the former School of Finance and Banking (SFB) and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration for International Business from the Amity University of India. Jules Cesar is an experienced person in Public Financial Management. He worked as an auditor in the Office of the Auditor General from 2008 to 2013 at different levels in audit including Team Leader of audit team. He thereafter joined RDB in 2013 where he served as the Head of Internal Audit Division up to March 2021. Jules Cesar is the current President of the Institute of Internal Auditors–Rwanda, a position he has held since March 2020. He also serves as the Board Audit Committee Member of the University of Rwanda, a position he has held since February 2015. |
Claudette Rubangura is currently the Head of Commercial Operations at UDL. She is responsible for all aspects of creating, building and bringing to life UDL brand and aligning the company’s marketing and communications programs with the organization’s strategic objectives. Claudette is also responsible for the overall performance of sales, the execution of customer acquisition, and integrated marketing and communications strategies, including oversight of marketing communications, brand building, and corporate messaging. Prior to Joining UDL, Claudette was the Head of Sales and Marketing at Remote Group for 4 years, where she oversaw the marketing and off plan sales of 900 units of affordable and mid-range homes. Prior to joining Remote Group, she was a marketing specialist at Ecobank Rwanda where she oversaw the implementation of all corporate, brand and product related communication activities. Before Ecobank, Claudette was a social media executive at Ayzenberg Group, an advertising agency in Pasadena California, where she helped brands such as JW Marriott and Microsoft XBOX build a strong presence across a number of social platforms. Claudette holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University of Northridge and a Professional Certificate in Advertising from the University of California, Los Angeles-Extension. |
Didier Iragi Mihigo is currently the Acting Head of Projects and Development at Ultimate Developers Ltd. He has over 9 years of intensive and extensive experience in construction project development and management. Hands-on experience in construction cost estimation & management, contract administration, Project Management, and Process & Operations Management. He is also familiar with smart, wellness, and sustainable construction philosophy. Didier is interested in science, technology, and sport. Didier is a holder of a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying and is currently pursuing a M.Sc. in Construction Project Management with BIM at Northumbria University; He is also a PMP® & PRINCE2®Practitioner certified and registered with Rwanda Institute of Architects – QS Chapter. |
Moses M. Katusime is the General Counsel and Company Secretary, with over 16 years’ experience in both public sector and private sector in legal matters, he has been involved in various legal opinion drafting matters, contract drafting and Contract negotiations, taking part in solving conflicts, representing company in Administration matters, courts of law and arbitration. With the extensive senior corporate legal advisory services experience, Moses has earned required skills in managing legal complex problems and corporate governance exposure for Board of Directors’affairs. Moses is a professional Arbitrator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), enrolled on the list of Arbitrators with Kigali International Arbitration Center (KIAC). Elly Butera is responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design. Elly leads residential and commercial projects in UDL ensuring design and implementation meets the required deliverables. Elly has 6 years plus of experience ranging from Design, Project Management and construction. Elly’s portfolio projects range from G+0 to G+30 Residential, commercial, institutional, religious buildings. Worked with various Developers, consulting firms and contracting firms. Elly holds a Masters of Science in Project Management and holds a Bachelors’ degree in Architecture. Trained at Hochschule Augsburg University of Applied sciences, University of Rwanda. |
